Jenna Fischer's most recognizable part is as Pam Beesly in the highly popular TV show The Office. Fischer was awarded the award of two SAG Awards and an Emmy for her outstanding performance by the comedy's ensemble.
She was raised primarily in St. Louis Missouri. Jenna was attracted by her mother's church performances at the time she started her journey.
Theater actress with training, Fischer returned to her home base after finishing The Office. She was a part of the Off-Broadway play Reasons to Be Happy which was written and directed by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she starred alongside Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's comical comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office actress Angela Kinsey Fischer, who is her real-life best friend and castmate, launched Office Ladies in October 2019 on Earwolf. The podcast became wildly successful, ranking in the Top Ten of the world each week. It received over 200,000,000 downloaded during its first two years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in January 2021.
She's also the author of The Actor's Life The Actor's Life: A Survival Guide (coauthored by Angela Kinsey) In it, her story of moving to St. Louis to Hollywood and becoming an actor is narrated.
