Actor Katherine Heigl is opening up about how she was raised in a "white bubble" and how this revelation has affected the way she raises her adoptive multiracial children. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy", star Katherine Heigl shared that she didn't care about her complexion until she got to know her adoptive sister who was from South Korea. "I I asked my sister Meg whether she'd been treated in one manner when she went walking around with our parents and a different way when she was out by herself without them. She said: 'Oh Sure, I've witnessed the whole thing!' Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise that I had been so ignorant." Heigl admitted she became frustrated and thought she needed to channel the anger she felt on her adoptee daughters. Heigl along with her husband of 13 years -- singer Josh Kelley -- have an infant son, aged 4 years old. Joshua Bishop Kelley, Jr. They have took in Nancy Leigh (age 12) from South Korea and Adalaide (age 8), who is black, in 2009.
